Two months ago a very pregnant dog wandered onto a property in the high desert. She was given food and water and next thing she delivered a litter of pups. A local rescue was willing to take the puppies but not Whitney. Whitney ended up being left to fend for herself and that is where we stepped in. When we picked her up she was very shy, but 5-10 minutes into her journey she perked up. Since we brought her to the rescue she has shown herself to be curious and smart, happy and confident. Whitney is affectionate, loves to be petted, and will happily roll over for some belly rubs. She has a tendency to pull on a leash so some manners will need to be taught. Now she is looking for her forever home home where she will always love you.
