Ever wondered if a domestic assistant was right for you? Coastal brings you the help you need! Meet Valentino, the ultimate household helper!
Valentino can provide services such as: personal wake-up calls, laundry service, reminding you to step outside, rearranging the rugs and putting away the groceries. Sound too good to be true?
For your personal wake-up call Valentino will pull the bed covers off or stick his nose under the blankets in order to get you up. It works! While you are staggering around after rising and all you want is coffee, he is ready to eat and will let you know with a demanding bark, playing with your feet, blocking you from going to the bathroom which you so badly have to do, or all three, because hello, breakfast is now! Laundry service? He’s got you covered. He will gather up the cover off his dog bed and take the blanket off the easy chair no problem, getting them to the laundry basket, well…maybe if you place the basket outside. But while he runs outside with your blankets he is just making sure you remember to step outside for some fresh air and sunshine. At this point he will throw himself on the grass and roll around, because hey it’s a beautiful day so you should be outside right? No? Ok, let’s get back inside by running into the house and sliding on the rug and moving it at least 5 feet from where it was before he started his mad dash. Because really, that rug belongs in the kitchen, not the living room. But wait there’s more! He loves to play with his ball and when a ball is not available a nice ripe cantaloupe will do the trick. Oh you set it on the counter in the farthest corner? Not much of a stretch for this long-legged counter surfer. While you are gone he’ll turn that cantaloupe into a ball, roll it off of the counter onto the floor and aerate it for you. We haven’t figured out how to train him to aerate the wine though.
Valentino was taken from a terrible situation where he was not cared for and left to fend for himself. Thanks to a Good Samaritan he came to us here at Coastal. He loves people, and after a proper introduction, other dogs and even cats. Watch him play with a foster’s kitty. Valentino also has a slight medical issue which can be managed with a little attention to his daily eating habits. He has IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and is on a controlled prescription diet.
If our lover of a boy Valentino seems like the perfect match for you, he’s looking for an energetic and slightly goofy Furever Family! Please fill out an adoption application and email us as a follow up so we can arrange a meet and greet.
If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
