Hi I’m Drogo – the handsomest shepherd this side of the Rockies (if I do say so myself)! My family got re-stationed and couldn’t take me with them – apparently Japan doesn’t let foreign doggies come visit them – their loss! My friends at Coastal took me in and now I’m ready to find my new family and be that special 4 legged friend that will be everyone’s BFF. A few things about me, I’m an affectionate guy who loves to be with his people, a nice head scratch or belly rub is always welcome. I especially love to play with my ball, throw it and will bring it back to you over and over again! I also know my basic commands, sit, down, and stay – everyone at the obedience class my foster dad enrolled me in thinks I’m the smartest one there as I learn so quickly. I’m also well-mannered around the house, I don’t counter-surf and can be left alone while my parents are off to work. In addition, I love to go for walks & car rides are also fun. I am OK with other dogs if they are introduced slowly – but kitties not so much. So if you’re ready to begin our adventures of a lifetime, please contact my friends at Coastal and ask about me!
If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
