Allex is a beautiful girl who walks well on a leash and loves the challenge of bench hopping and wall walking! She might play a little hard to get at first but don’t let that fool you! Before you know it she’ll be sleeping at your feet if you’re working at your desk or laying by your side while your pulling weeds in the garden.
She can be a little nervous in new situations but she uses her crate to feel secure. It also keeps her safe when you leave the house. Keeping her loving her crate is a wonderful thing for this honey of a shepherd. She sleeps in her crate at night – it’s a deep sleep because sometimes she has a very soft snore and sometimes she wags her tail in her dreams.
Allex is whip smart! Seriously she is one very intelligent girl and picks up on every detail. She loves training just for the interaction. If she thinks there’s something to be warned about she’ll come get you and show you – maybe some where she has watched Lassie movies! And yes, this girl loves to watch TV! She does like nature documentaries but America’s Got Talent seems to be her favorite.
She loves her walks and wants to take in every smell along the way. If time gets away and you don’t have time for a good long walk she loves to play chase the ball in the backyard or chase a lizard if they’re around!
Allex is good with people, including kids. A big, mellow male dog might be ok but no small dogs, please. She will do best in an experienced home with people who are home most of the time.
Allex can sometimes want to control everything around her if she is feeling nervous. She’s very willing to hand the reins over to a calm and confident leader. She just wants to please. All this sweet girl wants is to have a person she can be with for the rest of her life.
