Aiden is a sweet puppy who had a family that didn’t understand puppy behavior or what it took to raise a puppy. At just three months old he was turned in to the shelter and put on the list to be euthanized. Fortunately, the shelter realized that his behaviors were just a strong-willed puppy who wasn’t a match for small children and called the rescue to help him.
He is now in a home where he has one doggy mentor, Lucy, a Coastal alumni, and an enforcer, Kendra, just in case he doesn’t listen to Lucy. Lucy is the younger of the two who learned everything she knows from Kendra and she’s doing a great job with her first puppy pupil.
Aiden is a little energetic spitfire who is looking for a home that has another dog who can be his mentor and is free of small children. He is currently enrolled in puppy classes and his new family must be willing to continue training, both puppy classes and advanced obedience as he gets older. His family needs to have experience with the German Shepherd breed.
If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
