ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS TO PERSONAL PROPERTY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

I. ASSIGNMENT

BE IT KNOWN, the undersigned ____________________________ (Assignor) hereby unconditionally and irrevocably assigns and transfers to the COASTAL K9 GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE organization (Assignee) located in San Diego County, all rights, title, and interest in and to the following personal property:

A: A German Shepherd Dog (canine) known informally as ___________________. 
Color/Description ________________________________________________________.
Approximate Age ________

B: A Mixed-Breed Dog (canine) known informally as _________________.
Color/Description ________________________________________________________.
Approximate Age ________

The undersigned fully warrants that he/she owns the described canine and has full rights and authority to enter into this assignment and that the rights and benefits assigned hereunder are free and clear of any lien, encumbrance, adverse claim or interest by any third party.

The assignment shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, and their successors and assigns.

II. RELEASE

BE IT KNOWN, the undersigned _________________________________ (releasor) hereby unconditionally and irrevocably executes this release agreement to the COASTAL K9 GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE organization (releasee).

In consideration of the releasee's acceptance of the costs of all upkeep, maintenance and eventual placement into an undisclosed permanent home, of the above described canine, releasor voluntarily and knowingly executes this release with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of obligations and rights created by or arising out of the assignment of the above described canine.

Releasor expressly discharges releasee and his/her heirs and legal representatives from all claims he/she ever had, or now has, or may have, to the possession of, ownership interest in, and information regarding, the canine described above. In addition, Releasor, with the intention of binding himself/herself, his/her spouse, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns, expressly releases and discharges releasee and its heirs and legal representatives from all claims, demands, actions, judgments, and executions that releasor ever had, or now has, or may have, known or unknown, against releasee or its heirs or legal representatives created by or arising out of said claim.
